Kid Hat: Rainbow Puddles

Marbling is practically magic. It is the thought I have most often when I pull a hat out of the carrageenan, one that went into the liquid blank and emerged as something else, covered in a swirling, colorful pattern. It is always magic, but now, at the turning of the seasons, magic seems to be playing on the edges of our vision, lurking around every corner. The Practically Magic collection is an ode to the playfulness of spooky season. We dress in costume and cover our homes in fake spiderwebs and eerily beautiful things to help process the sadness that comes with summer's end. We don't have to leave the bright colors and whimsy of summer behind. We can bring that with us into the darker, cozier months that are ahead, conjuring deeper, richer colors, just like the trees, under the moodiness of October skies.

Each Tempered East marbled hat is designed and hand-dipped, making it a one-of-one party hat. The kids baseball cap has a low-profile, six-panel design with a curved peak crafted from 100% cotton and an adjustable fastener with a metal clasp. The hat has been dipped into a marbled pattern designed and created by hand using acrylic-based paints and treated for long-lasting color.
