Mother's Day Marbling Workshop

Join us for this mimosa-fueled make-and-take marbling workshop at Slacktide Salt Shed! Each participant will have their own marbling vat, where they will play with color and explore endless design potential to print onto paper. We will learn and practice some simple pattern-making techniques and before the end of class, everyone will marble a little canvas zip pouch. This workshop is open to all skill levels and is the perfect activity to do with your mom or to give to her as a Mother's Day gift.

Location: Slacktide Maine Salt Shed, York, ME (address will be provided before workshop)

The workshop will cover:

- How to create a successful color palette

- Application of paint to marble bath

- Basic pattern and image-making techniques

- Participants will marble several pieces of paper

- Marbling a canvas zip pouch
